Tharun Bhasker's debut venture Pellichoopulu was made with a shoestring budget and collected a mind boggling gross of Rs.10 crores. This short filmmaker proved his mettle with his debut film itself.
Pellichoopulu was made as a new age cute romantic entertainer which tickled the hearts of youth audience. Obviously, it was expected that Tharun would direct yet another romantic entertainer for his next.
In contrast, Tharun preferred an urban comedy 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi' with new star cast under Suresh Productions. This came as a bit shocker to Tharun's supporters. This senses that instead of preferring his safe genre, Tharun might have experimented with a new genre. That's why, his supporters questioned, 'Tharun Bhasker Ki Emaindi?'.
However, Tharun might have thought he would score another hit with another genre.
On the other hand, top production house Suresh Productions hasn't delivered any remarkable hit for the past 10 years, except a decent hit Nene Raju Nene Mantri. It is to be seen if the banner as well Tharun would score a big hit with ENE or not.
