Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is renowned not only for her bold performances on screen but also for her frank talk off screen. Many times her frank talk resulted in huge controversies and she was subjected to criticism from all quarters by the influential celebrities.
Kangana is currently getting ready to show her power as Jhansi Lakshmi Bai, in the biopic Manikarnika-The Queen of Jhansi. Speaking to scribes, Kangana wondered why people offer lakhs for that.
When asked why she is staying away from item songs when all top heroines are doing, she said, "Many filmmakers came to me asking to do special songs for which they offered huge remuneration. However I don't have good impression about item songs which have nothing but obscenity and one needn't do anything in it.
I wonder and may never understand why the filmmakers include item songs irrelevant to the story and why they offer lakhs to the heroines who do it. I will never do such songs for money. In future my children shouldn't think that their mother did such item songs for money. One shouldn't call my children as item girl or item bomb kids."
