Kannada people are quite furious over Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. They imposed a ban on both the heroes' films in Karnataka state.
In the wake of Rajini's statement on Cauvery waters, Kannada Rakshana Vedika president Praveen Shetty made it clear that they wouldn't let Rajini's film Kaala released in Karnataka, even if the the superstar would tender his apologies on his statement.
On the other hand, Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce President Sara Govind said that they would allow all other films to be screened in Karnataka except Rajini and Kamal's films.
Kaala is slated for release on June 7. Pa Ranjith has directed the film while Dhanush bankrolled the project.
