In the recent past Tollywood evolved itself and with the sensation of Baahubali which elevated the standard of Indian cinema at international level, it never looked back. Tollywood films became the cynosure of all eyes and now Bollywood too which earlier used to ignore them completely, started getting scared of them.
With the standard of Bollywood films falling down drastically, noted legend Sekhar Kapoor asked Bollywood makers to learn by watching Telugu films. Now, popular trade analyst Taran Adarsh too came with a similar statement.
Citing the examples of Baahubali and the other hit films like Rangasthalam, Mahanati and Bharat Ane Nenu which raked up millions of dollars in overseas, Taran Adarsh said the content driven films will do well and the above films are the best examples.
He said while Telugu films are showing the power at international level, in the domestic market Hollywood films are dominating Bollywood films. He asked Bollywood makers to wake up to this reality and learn from them.
