Conspiracy Hatched Against Krishna

Tammareddy reveals how he ganged up against Krishna

Mahesh Babu's father Krishna with his daring and dashing attitude became the first super star of Tollywood. He introduced many new things to Tollywood movie lovers to thrill them.

Tammareddy Bharadwaj speaking to scribes revealed how he gaged up and hatched a conspiracy against Krishna. He said, "We have been looking for another story after Pachchani Samsaram. Then Krishna asked me to get the good story from Satyamurthy (father of Devi Sri Prasad). I liked the story and the moment regular shoot started, we differed over an issue. In the story Babu Mohan has a secret and he is crazy of Silk Smitha. We planned a song on Babu Mohan and Silk Smitha. However Krishna was adamant to do the song and though we tried to convince him that he dancing alongside Silk Smitha don’t look good. However, he was in no mood to listen.

Producer then came up with the suggestion to shoot song on Silk Smitha and Krishna in the morning and Silk Smitha and Babu Mohan in the night. I told that they can proceed but I will not be in the sets. In that way we hatched a conspiracy and completed the shoot. The film went to censor and I sent Babu Mohan and Silk Smitha song to the censor. But Censor Board censored the song. Krishna turned furious after coming to know about the conspiracy.

He went to Censor Board office and spoke to Subbirami Reddy who asked him to see the song. After watching the song, Krishna was surprised and he came out and gave shake hand. I thought he gave me shake hand for the way I shot the song. But he told me that from today our friendship ends. Later big fight took place. It started with abuses and went to fist fights in the Film Chamber. We didn’t talk for three years. I attained stardom thanks to Krishna and so I later went to him and tried to convince him."
