Ever since the biopic of India's first freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimhareddy, titled Sye Raa Narasimhareddy, was announced, there has been a humongous buzz on the project. Needless to say, Megastar Chiranjeevi's ultimate stardom stood as the driving force for the craze generated on the project. Besides, the freedom struggle backdrop got the hype enhanced on the project.
It is a known fact that Mega Power Star Ram Charan is spending Rs.200 crores on this mega project so as to ensure that it would become the next magnum opus of Tollywood post the release of Baahubali series films. According to ongoing reports, the movie got huge business craze in Telugu states. Reportedly, Rs.150 crore worth pre release business which takes 3/4th of the total investment is valued in Telugu states alone.
But then, Ram Charan doesn't wish the film gets confined to its Telugu version. He wants to release the film in multi-languages to make sure that it would be a pan-Indian film.
Sye Raa is being directed by Surender Reddy on Konidela Production Company. Nayantara and Pragya Jaiswal will be seen as Chiranjeevi's wives while milky beauty Tamannah sports a rebellious woman's role. Big B Amitabh Bachchan will be seen as Chiranjeevi's guru. Jagapathi Babu, Kichcha Sudheep and Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in other key roles. This Surender Reddy's directorial venture is slated for release on May 9, next year.
