Needless to say the kind of bond did Darshakaratna Dasri Narayana Rao and Mohan Babu have. They wee seen together in the events. However, post the demise of Dasari, Mohan Babu seemed to have been not interested in attending some events related to Dasari.
Mohan Babu was not being part when Dasari's statue was installed in film nagar. Moreover, he alleged that the statue was of poor quality which was made of just clay and mud which doesn't befit Dasari's stature. He also complained that he was not invited to the occasion.
Producer C Kalyan, however, has an intense concern over Mohan Babu's remarks. "How can we make the statue just with a clay and mud? Bronze and other chemicals were used in the making of the statue. Moreover, the statue was ordered at a place where Dasari garu ordered for the statue of his wife. Anyone can enquire about the quality of the statue at the place where it was made. I expended my own money for the statue's preparation", C Kalyan said.
C Kalyan also made it clear that he had personally invited Mohan Babu to the event but the actor's close associates informed him he was out of station. "But a day before, Mohan Babu was learnt to have attended to an event held in Hyderabad", said C Kalyan.
It must be remembered that recently Tammaeddy Bharadwaj too made criticisms against the people who tended to be very close to Dasari but are seen disappearing in Dasari's related events post the latter's demise.
