With each passing day, many of the ruling party's leaders are turning out to be rude, arrogant and ruthless. One such personality is Varla Ramaiah who made quite derogatory remarks on a youth pointing out his caste.
The newly sworn-in RTC chairman Varla Ramaiah inspected buses at Machilipatnam bus station yesterday. While he was inspecting a bus, a youth, who sat at a window seat, was listening to music through earphones and was not aware of Varla's checking.
Angered by the boy's negligence on him, Varla asked the boy what his caste was. When the boy revealed his caste's name, Varla sarcastically said, "M****** kulam ayithe assalu chadavaru". Besides Varla said the boy wouldn't be helpful to his father.
However, when the controversy stirred up, Varla had to give the clarification that he actually wanted to preach the boy a right path.
