Seems Vishwaroopam troubles for Lokanayakudu Kamal Haasan is coming back to haunt him. The film's sequel Vishwaroopam 2 release got delayed for many years has got a shock from the censor board.
Reports are coming that Censor Board shocked Kamal Haasan by recommending around 17 cuts for his Vishwaroopam2 Hindi version to pass the censor test.
This is surprising as the Vishwaroopam 2 Telugu and Tamil versions have got clean U certificate without any cuts. Sources reveal that the censor members have divided over Hindi version to pass it with UA instead of U and that too with around 17 cuts.
Kamal in the meanwhile is not willing to budge. CBFC officials say that they cannot have uniform code for censorship for the whole country and they consider three versions as three different films as every language comes with different and diverse cultural background.
People still cannot forget how Vishwaroopam was banned by the then Tamil Nadu government headed by CM Jayalalithaa and also many Arab and Muslim countries citing that the film hurt the sentiments of the Muslims.
