Survey: Congress Wins in Karnataka

C-Fore Survey Report: Congress Victory in Karnataka

In a major shocker to the BJP, an authentic survey report says the ruling Congress party of Karnataka would again gain power with almost 9% of its vote share to be increased in upcoming general polls.

Noted survey agency C-Fore conducted a survey across 154 constituencies in Karnataka between 1st and 25th of March. Samples of 22,357 voters were taken from 2368 polling booths covering 326 urban and 977 rural locations.

C-Fore, in 2013, said the Congress would win 119-120 seats. But the party won 122 seats then. And this time, C-Fore is predicting that the Congress would sweep the elections with 126 seats with 46% of vote share. The survey further says the BJP would get 70 seats  while JD (S) would get satisfied with 27 MLA seats.

If at all above survey report is proved right, it would come as a huge jolt to the union government which has been taking unilateral decisions especially dumping the demands of Southern states.
