Malayalee model Priya Varrier became an overnight sensation for her stunning expressions in the song 'Manikya Malaraya Poovi from Oru Adaar Love directed by Omar Lullu.
Priya is flooded with offers from various languages and recently reports suggested that she is in talks for Temper remake in Bollywood.
Speculations are rife that the most famous wink scene in the song is copied from another Malayalam film Kidu. The director of Kidu, Majeed Abu shot a scene similar to the wink in Oru Aadar Love.
The song is sung by Vineeth Srinivasan and the DI video clip has a similar Malappuram background. However Abu for some reason deleted the entire scene. Few assert that the scenes are lifted from Oru Adaar Love.
But producer Sabu of Kidu says that the shooting and editing of their film was completed even before Oru Adaar Love.
When asked why he didn’t take any action, he replied saying he didn’t want to make a big issue out of it as there could be similarities between two films. He said when life has similarities between two persons; there is nothing wrong if two films have.
So, a big relief for Priya Varrier and her Oru Adaar Love makers as they escaped copy claim!
