AP Special Fight: All Parties Marks & Grades

AP Special Status Fight: Progress Cards Issued to Political Parties!

As we all know, Andhra Pradesh's special category status issue has turned out to be one of the burning topics of the nation. Obviously, all political parties and Non Government Organisations (NGOs) and  intellectual forums appeared to have fought for the special category status. Having gone through movements, agitations and strategies being applied by aforesaid parties and NGOs, people of AP turned as headmasters and awarded marks and grades to the parties concerned based on their performances. Check out the following list of performances, marks and grades of the parties. (Marks and grades are issued in ascending order)

TDP: This ruling party of AP's sole aim is to stay in power forever and to maintain its alliances safe. Although the party knew how important special category status to AP is, it simply kept off agitations so as not to trouble union government and its friendship. Having stayed mum on SCS issue for four years, the party recently decided to demand the SCS. Yet, there have been no takers for the party's decisions on SCS due to its inconsistent attitude and dishonest nature. Considering these factors, people awarded '0' (zero) marks with D2 grade in SCS fight to the party.

BJP: Since BJP high command has been adamant not to give SCS to AP under any circumstances, the party is in no mood to take up any agitations in favour of AP. people awarded 10 marks to the party allocating D2 grade.

INTELLECTUAL FORUMS & NGOS: Hero Shivaji, Chalasani Srinivas and a few others took lead roles and would run agitation for SCS status to AP. They had done extensive research on funds allocated by BJP to all sectors of AP. However, the problem lies with their suspicious stand on various political parties. Whenever, a few opposition parties speed up their activities on SCS, Shivaji and Chalasani appear into the picture as if they were TDP supporters. Moreover, leaders like Chalasani faced criticism during Samaikyandhra movement that they provoked AP employees to resort to indefinite strike which led the total loss of thousands of crores. All in all, AP people gave them 20 marks with D2 grade.

CPI AND CPM: In most of the cases they haven't taken initiation to take the SCS movement to public. They would only react after any major political party started movement on SCS. These parties were awarded with 25 marks with D2 grade awarded by the people.

JANASENA: This party acted as a partner of TDP and BJP during 2014's elections. Even today, the party's head shows immense respect on TDP's head. There has been no such track record Janasena turned aggressive on TDP. Well, this factor also resisted them in fighting aggressively for SCS. Janasena still needs to fight a big time on SCS. For time being, people awarded Janasena with  pass marks 35. Besides, the party received D1 grade from the people.

YSR CONGRESS: If at all TDP prefers a break up with BJP, YCP wants to have a tie up with the BJP. Even then, the party's fight on SCS can't be undermined. There appeared an honesty in the speeches of party's head. Moreover, the party gets advanced going for a no trust motion against BJP soon. To sum up, people posted 75 marks to the party made them placed at B1 grade.

CONGRESS PARTY (STATE & CENTRE): Barring the bitter truth AP state was divided during Congress party's regime, Congress appeared to be sincere in giving promises and resorting agitations on SCS. Recently, Rahul Gandhi proclaimed that Congress would announce SCS, if Congress would assume power at the centre. In fact, former PM Manmohan Singh offered a wonderful package in addition to special status to AP. Unfortunately, political parties and media turned as egoists and rejected those promises. As a result, people are fighting for the same benefits which Congress announced in February, 2014. Meanwhile, genuine people awarded 91 marks to Congress with A1 grade.
