Entire cast and crew of Tholi Prema is over moon with the romantic entertainer doing well at the Box Office. The lead pair Varun Tej and Rashi Khanna are getting drowned in accolades received from all quarters.
While Dil Raju who released the film in Nizam was doubtful on a glamorous Rashi Khanna to play this performance centre role, news is she was not the original choice for female lead. Yes, makers planned to rope in Mehreen Kaur Pirzada who impressed all with her performances in Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema gadha, Mahanubhavudu, Raja The Great, Care Of Surya and Jawaan for the role.
Noticing that Mehreen has put on lot of weight and turned hefty, second thoughts crept in. The director Venky replaced her with Rashi Khanna and she has shed weight surprising us all with slim physique. Thus Mehreen missed a super hit due to weighty issues.
