Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat overcame all the controversies and is attracting movie lovers at the box office. Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh's performances in the lead roles won the appreciation of the movie lovers and critics alike.
There is no denying a fact that the film's cast and crew experienced immense tensions ahead of the film release. Deepika who played the lead role of Padmavati in the film faced verbal attacks and also on social media. Protesting groups and Karni Sena even announced a reward for those who chop off Deepika's ears and nose. Many abused her branding her as Soorpanakha and also a traitor out to insult the Rajputs.
Deepika when asked whether she would star in such controversial films in future, replied back saying that she can never star in such films in future after undergoing the trauma and facing the personal attacks.
Speaking about Padmaavat, she said that she liked the war scene between Khilji, Raval Ratan Singh and added she did not see such action scenes between top stars till now.
