Character artist Brahmaji starred in many versatile roles and elevated the scenes with his stellar performances. In his interaction with star comedian Ali on a TV show, he revealed many secrets. What shocked is he exposed a top director.
'Ravi Raja Pinisetty promised me a role but made me run after him for more than four years. It is not that he did not intend to give me the role but I did not get the opportunity. I always used to meet him. He used to speak at me with lot of respect. Though he didn't give me any role in that film, finally he offered me a very good chance in Rajasekhar's Maa Annayya. It fetched me good name,' said Brahmaji.
On Krishna Vamsi offering a role only after taking money from him, Brahmaji said... 'this is not true. I did not give him even a single penny. He will starve but will not beg anyone. He will not even tell his troubles. Once we were discusing at 8.30 PM I was feeling hungry and I have a card in a nearby mess. I took him for dinner in the mess. Then I came to know that he did not have anything for more than two days. He was planning to leave to his house silently but decided to wait for one more day. As a gratitude he offered me roles in his films.'
