Yes, Suriya’s new film Gang largely said to be remade from Bollywood critically acclaimed flick Special 26 is actually arriving in theaters tomorrow. Despite having strong and proven content on hand, the film is absoutely positioned inappropriately in Telugu states with weak promotions further creating the destruction.
While dubbing flavor is the major drawbck in pulling audience on backfoot, for now Gang is rated by market sources as poorly promoted film among all Suriya movies released so far. Apparently, everyone waited for Agnyathavasi storm to pass on calmly and Pawan Kalyan garnering negative response can be a blessing to cash on. With this kind of publicity stratgy, Suriya’s Gang may stand last in Sankranti race and even lose the battle hands on.
