Apart from being a good performer, Akhil proved he has been a good singer. It is a known thing that 'Evevo kalalu kanna' song, which was sung by Akhil, stood as one of the best numbers in Hello film.
Akhil disclosed to the media how harder he had worked for the song. "Anup is held responsible for making me a singer. Earlier, I used to hum the songs. However, Anup and I worked together for 100 hours over a span of three months which made me learning how to sing a song. He taught me breathing technique, voice control and variations in high and low pitches," says Akhil.
Hello has been directed by Vikram Kumar on King Nagarjuna's Annapurna Studios. Senior director Priyadarshan's daughter Kalyani Priyadarshan essayed female lead role. Akhil's third venture is yet to be announced.
