Actor MP Hema Malini once stole the hearts of all and became Dream Girl during her hay days. During the discussion on her biography 'Beyond the Dream Girl' penned by Ram Kamal Mukherjee at a literary fest, Hema Malini spoke on the controversy generated over Deepika Padukone's starrer Padmavati directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Hema recollected the moments that she too starred as Padmavati in tele serial Terah Panne in 1985 and was happy that the film even got released.
Mukherjee speakng about the same said that he wrote about Terah Panne directed by Vikas Desai which was aired on Door Darshan. In the serial Hema Malini starred in different roles like Kunti, Kaikai, Rani Padmini among others.
