Modi and Media Disrespected Nation?

Modi's Derogatory Remarks on Nehru

Ever since the BJP led NDA assumed power at the centre, it has turned out as a fashion and style criticizing the national leaders. Pathetically, top leaders of BJP, themselves, are criticizing the great freedom fighters and nation's leaders.

The PM Narendra Modi, while campaigning for Gujarat assembly elections at Surender Nagar yesterday, made derogatory remarks against the first PM, nation's builder and great patriot Jawaharlal Nehru.

Modi alleged that there had been no internal democracy existed in the Congress party. "Sardar Patel got more votes than Nehru. But then, the election was rigged and Nehru won," Modi says.

Analysts, however, felt that Modi has reached to extreme levels in telling lies to the people aiming to win Gujarat elections either by hook or by crook.

Modi's anti nationalists comments should have been censored by the media. Instead, a top newspaper of AP, which is called Bhatraju of TDP and BJP, published Modi's derogatory remarks in the first page.
