Until some time ago, late Dasari Narayana Rao was treated as industry Pedda. Although he would solve issues faced by many filmmakers, he was criticized that he had supported a few groups in the industry while he opposed some other industry people.
Post the demise of Dasari some of the industry people wished Megastar Chiranjeevi would replace Dasari occupying industry pedda status. But then, unlike Dasari, Chiranjeevi is so busy working for films.
Right now, Chiranjeevi is working for the next magnum opus of Tollywood Sye Raa Narasimhareddy. He had complete makeover for the historical character provided for him. Also, it can't be denied Chiranjeevi's significant role in 2019's elections on behalf of the Congress party.
Considering these facts, Chiranjeevi may hardly take up the responsibilities of industry pedda. Instead, Mega brother Nagababu, who has good rapport with the actors and technicians of all crafts, can take initiation to get the issues of industry people solved.
