Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmavati starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor landed in huge controversy which is in fact difficult to resolve. Tempers are running high as Bhansali known to glorify the central lead characters with negative shades just like he did with Akbar in Jodha Akbar. People especially Rajputs in fresh suspect that Bhansali is doing the same with Alauddin Khilji in Padmavati, belittling the glory and sacrifice of Rajput Queen Padmavati. Now Ranveer Singh who played the role of Alauddin Khilji is attracting the anger of people.
Amidst all this, Temper Hindi remake is all scared by Padmavati controversy. It is known that Rohit Shetty decided to remake Young Tiger NTR's Temper with Ranveer Singh in lead. The film shows again main hero in negative shades before making a remarkable transformation.
Makers of Hindi Temper are now working hard to change the characterization highlighting its positive aspects more. But those who watched the original feel, by diluting the negative shades, intensity in the film may be affected. There was a time when people thoroughly enjoyed negative shades in hero characters and Shah Rukh Khan is bright example on how films like Darr changed his fortunes.
