A specific case of Tamil director Sasi Kumar’s cousin Ashok Kumar’s suicide couple of days back in Chennai unable to repay the high interest loans alerted entire Kollywood. Entire media and Tamil cinema industry are pointing the fingers at notorious financier Madurai Anbuchezian who has the credit of torturing biggest of names including Ajith Kumar and directors Gautham Menon, Lingusamy.
Ashok Kumar left a two page suicide note mentioning on high interest rates charged by Madurai Anbuchezian and also threatened with death calls.
In fresh, director Suseenthiran published an open letter to media friends today requesting the police officials to begin stringent action against Madurai Anbuchezian who is also holding a production banner Gopuram Films.
‘Anbuchezhian is responsible for this pathetic state of Tamil cinema. He should be punished. I request Central government and the State revenue department to conduct raids on his house. Half of the money in Tamil Nadu will be found with Anbu,’ said Suseenthiran.
