Ilayathalapahy Vijay's Adirindhi accumulated good day one collections and did equally well on day two in spite of other releases. What was felt unsatisfactorily by the audience in the film was that lengthy dialogues uttered by Vijay on GST and Modi's digital India campaign were muted in the film.
It was earlier believed that censor board's officials chopped off those dialogues. It's now learnt that the makers have sent the movie for censor without adding those dialogues. And now, team Adirindhi has decided to add the muted dialogues on today or tomorrow. This maybe a great news for those who are yet to watch the film.
Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha and Nitya Menon have played female leads of the movie. AR Rahman has composed tunes. The movie was directed by Atlee. Meanwhile, the film's original Tamil version Mersal collected Rs.200 crores gross and stood as the biggest blockbuster in Kollywood this year.
