TRS leader and former MLC P. Nageshwara Rao has decided to join the Congress party.
Speaking to media persons in Khammam on Friday, Nageshwara Rao announced that he would be joining the Congress party after meeting AICC Vice-President Rahul Gandhi at New Delhi on November 8 in the presence of Congress MP Renuka Chowdhary. He said there was no democracy in the TRS and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao's rule reminds people of Nizam's Rule. He said KCR is the first and only Chief Minister who does not come to the Secretariat.
Nageshwara Rao was elected to the Legislative Council in 2009 under local bodies' quota and he had served on various positions in TDP till 2015. He had joined the TRS in 2016.
