Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming Sci-Fi entertainer 2.0 audio was launched grandly last night at Burj Park near Burj Towers in Dubai. Meanwhile, it's buzzed that the run time of the film has been locked to 140 minutes. It's surely said to be an ideal run time for movies.
But then, most of Shankar's previous films had the total run time of more than 170 minutes. Comparatively, the run time of 2.0 is so short. Speculations are now rife that Shankar has compromised with the film's budget while some more observers felt that Shankar wanted to release 2.0 on January 25 under any circumstances and so was the run time of 2.0 was lessened.
Perhaps, the subject demands the short run time of 2.0 and which maybe citedas the reason by the film's team. Whatever it is, 2.0 is going to be the biggest magnum opus of India for sure.
Amy Jackson has done opposite to Rajinikanth in the movie while Bollywood star hero Akshay Kumar has done an antagonist. AR Rehaman has composed music for this Shankar's directorial venture. Lyca Productions has bankrolled the movie.
