King Nagarjuna's Raju Gari Gadhi 2 recorded impressive collections of Rs.12 crores at the end of its first weekend's run. Thereafter, the film couldn't sustain momentum. The film collected Rs.16+ crores world wide share at the end of its first week run which includes Rs.13.92 crores share in Telugu states.
As we reported earlier, the movie had done a pre release business of Rs.24 crores world wide. As such, the film should surpass Rs.24 crores share to reach break even while it should mint Rs.25+ crores to be termed as a hit. For time being it appears a tough task for Raju Gari Gadhi 2 to score a solid hit at the box office.
On the other hand, Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja's Raja the Great carried positive reports and accumulated impressive collections for two days. The film's theatrical rights were valued to Rs.31+ crores.
Since no big releases are ahead upto few more weeks both Raja the Great and Raju Gari Gadhi 2 can surely spin more money at the ticket windows. Although Energetic Star Ram's Vuinnadhi Okate Zindagi will be releasing next week, Raja and Raju may not get affected by the film as both the films can retain good number of screens even after VOZ release.
