After a gap, Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja movie Raja The Great is hitting the screens this Wednesday. Makers have arranged the pre-release function yesterday and was attended by the whole team.
Raja The Great is being produced by Dil Raju and directed by Ani Ravipudi of Pataas and Supreme fame. Speaking on the occasion, Dil Raju revealed some interesting facts about the movie and his relationship with Ravi Teja.
Dil Raju said that he knew Ravi Teja closely for more than 20 years much before they made Bhadra. Subject of Arya was first narrated to Ravi Teja. After listening to the script, Mass Maharaj felt that he will not suit for the role of Arya and has politely declined. It finally went to Bunny’s lap and the rest is history.
Dil Raju had to specifically mention this for a reason. Thought the names are not revealed, even Raja The Great was narrated to several heroes and everyone were bit hesitant to accept the offer as the hero character is blind throughout the movie.
When Anil Ravipudi narrated the script to Ravi Teja, he immensely liked it and accepted the movie with no second thoughts.
We will have to wait and see until this Wednesday to know what made our Mass Maharaj accept Raja The Great. We hope Ravi Teja will have a perfect come back and will regain his past glory.
Raja The Great also has Ravi Teja son making his debut. And if it clicks it will be a hattrick for Anil Ravipudi and Mehreen Pirzada as well.
