Malayalam actress Dileep's bail plea rejected five times before has finally succeeded. He is accused of abducting a heroine by hiring a gang which also sexually assaulted her in a moving car.
Kerala High Court Justice Sunil Thomas granted the bail only after imposing stringent conditions like surrendering passport and a deposit of Rs 1 lakh with two solvent sureties. Court also ordered him not tamper the evidence and appear before investigating officers as and when given a call.
'Case is in the final stages and his further custody is not necessary,' Justice said. Finally, the bail comes as a big sigh of relief for Dileep.
