PM Narendra Modi appears to have been facing the music of Janasena chief Power Star Pawan Kalyan for quite some time. Initiated by Modi, the president Kovind flagged off the special sanitation campaign 'Swach Hi Seva' which was launched on September 15 and will be continued upto October 2.
In connection with the launch of Swach Hi Seva, Modi wrote letters to AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, Telangana CM KCR and Tollywood celebs Prince Mahesh Babu, Mohan Babu and Rajamouli seeking their support for the campaign.
Strangely, Modi hasn't sent letter to Pawan Kalyan which betokens breakup of Janasena-BJP bond In fact, Power Star extended his selfless support to the BJP during 2014 elections. Since the BJP government had resorted to several administrative blunders owing to political novice by the key leaders, Pawan Kalyan distanced the party and started agitating against the BJP. Especially, he raised his voice against BJP demanding special status to AP. In spite of his protests, BJP ignored his demands. Considering the latest gesture of Modi, it has been understood how hard Modi faced music of Pawan Kalyan.
On the other hand, the AP government showed overboard reaction with Modi's letter. The government shockingly postponed Dasara holidays in schools and colleges for two days due to Swach Hi Seva programme.
