Naga Chaitanya's Yuddham Sharanam and Allari Naresh's Meda Meeda Abbayi are in stores this Friday. One way or the other, these movies turned litmus tests for the heroes of respective films.
Naga Chaitanya earlier tried to get himself proved as an action hero with some action entertainers. None of them, however, yielded fruitful results for the Akkineni hero. Yuddham Sharanam has been made as an action and romantic entertainer. Given the trailers and the pics released, it appeared Chaitu had some great effort done for the film to get his mettle proved with Yuddham Sharanam.
Senior hero Srikanth has played an antagonist while Lavanya Trivipathi essayed Chaitu's love interest.
On the other hand, Allari Naresh, who once scored a series of successful comedy films, has been struggling hard to snatch a victory at the box office for the past two to three years. The success of Meda Meeda Abbayi turned crucial for his career. Billed to be an official remake of Malayalam super hit Oru Vadakkan Selfie, the movie has Nikhila Vimal in female lead role. Prajith is the director. Let's await the box office verdict of both the films in a couple of hours.
