Rana Daggubati’s Nene Raju Nene Mantri is going strong at Box Office. While many said the movie is Rana’s career best performance till date, at the same time the political drama film bought director Teja back into action with immense positive energy.
Nevertheless, there are allegations that Teja had stolen this story from a talented, aspiring writer Thimmareddy and looted him to core. He was once an assistant to director N Shankar.
Into the two years flashback, when Thimmareddy approached Teja with this storyline, the idea was obviously liked instantaneously and both of them traveled for six months time during the scripting stages. In fact, Teja promised to publish Thimma’s name in title credits and assured a decent remuneration worth the work done.
Once Nene Raju Nene Mantri went into Suresh Babu’s compound, slowly and steadily Teja began to sideline Thimma and finally kicked him completely out without giving any credit. Reports say, Thimma begged Teja for at least baseline story credit for which Teja declined mercilessly. Disappointed Thimmareddy went silent and disappeared there on. Rumors also say that, he is in a very bad financial shape and also has critical health problems.
On the other side, Rana Fans are calling these allegations as baseless rumors and if there is something cooking wrong, Thimmareddy would have come before media with all evidences.
