Vijayawada Kapu Meet Fake? CBN Cheated Kapus?

Vijayawada Kapu Meet Fake?

It is a known news that AP CM Chandrababu Naidu attended a 'Hearty Meet' of Kapus in Vijayawada yesterday.  Further, CBN had in-principle agreed to offer reservation to Kapus in Education and Jobs.

However, Kapu leaders across the state have fumed at the meet and CBN's fake promises. They have reprimanded that the Kapu meeet itself was a fake meet. They have enlisted following allegations.

* The meeting was attended by 2000 people. Since most of the kapu leaders and activists showed reluctance to attend the meet, some TDP activists of other castes were made turned up the meet to make it a success. Says a source, "Only 2000 people attended the meet among 1.60 crores of Kapus. And most of the people gathered at the venue belonged to other castes."

* Now that Nandyal bypolls and Kakinada civic polls are fast approaching, CBN wants its Kapu vote back safe. As a result he hurriedly convened a fake Kapu meet.

* Minister Chinarajappa and other ministers, MLAs and TDP activists asked reservations only in education and employment ignoring to demand reservations in politics. Who asked these leaders to take such crucial decisions without informing Kapu JAC?

* CBN says several Kapus were benefited with Kapu Corporation. In reality, only a few activists of TDP were benefited.

* CBN said there was no Kapu movement until he made election promise to induct Kapus into BCs. As a matter of fact, Kapu JAC had been active since 2012.

* Having assumed the power, CBN assured Kapu reservations would be implemented in just six months. Even after three and half years, there has been no BC commission's report. And finally, CBN is strategically contemplating to throw the blame upon union government making too much delay in sending the resolution copy of Kapu reservations to the centre.
