Pellichoopulu director Tharun Bhascker rose to overnight fame with just one film. In fact, he is associated with many short films before splashing onto big screen but Pellichoopulu was a true game changer. It has been a long wait for Telugu audience to hear an update about Tharun’s second directorial but for reasons unknown, it is being delayed more and more.
According to a new buzz in film circles, Tharun recently narrated a script to young hero Nikhil and the reaction is learnt to be very positive. Apparently, Nikhil has more than two projects signed and are in various pipeline stages. So, it may take more than a year even if Tharun’s script is advanced to next level of pre production.
Before it gets too late and industry begins to forget Tharun, need of the hour is to keep him-self busy by walking on the sets with one or the other script he has on hand. Hope, Tharun is lending an ear because talent identified can’t be seen sitting idle.
