Kamal Haasan, I am Mudhalvar

Is Kamal Haasan eyeing politics?

Legendary actor Kamal Haasan is being active on Twitter and other social media platforms discussing on subjects related to the welfare of the people of Tamil Nadu.

Kamal is not mincing his words in finding faults at political parties or persons whom he feels wrong.

With this kind of attitude, it is no wonder that Kamal will automatically fall into the eyes of current politicians.

One such politician is Tamil Nadu Finance Minister Jayakumar who dared the legendary actor Kamal Hasan to set up his own party and join politics instead of being inactive.

Jayakumar’s challenge seems to be the repercussion of Kamal Hasan’s comments about corruption in Tamil Nadu Government departments.

Kamal took the Finance Minister challenge quiet seriously and has responded with a 11 line poem on Twitter in Tamil which literally translates like this:

Let us criticize, none is king now. Let us spring up heartily, as we are not kings like them. If routed and dead, I am militant. If I decide, I am ‘mudhalvar’ (leader). Am I a slave coz I bow? Am I a loser if I shun the crown? It’s an error to show them as fools. Paths can’t be seen unless searched. Come along with me, Comrade, one who sets out to smash absurdity will be a leader.

Keep doing the good work, Kamal. No matter if you are in politics or not, it is our right to question the credibility of any work that Government undertakes.

Jayakumar – Beware of this legendary actor. He might well get into politics and will for sure be a night mare to other parties. What do you say folks?
