DJ Duvvada Jagannadham is muffled with controversies once again. Right from the day of its shooting, controversies have been surrounding DJ.
First it was while shooting at a temple where temple authorities refused to give permission initially. Then it was the controversial lyrics that the makers obliged to remove in a super hit song. Even after the release, controversies didn’t stop for DJ. One of the community members had objections using the word Kamma.
And now a fresh controversy is gearing up momentum. The Hindu religious community especially Brahmins are offended to see Duvvada Jagannadham chanting most powerful Gayatri Mantram wearing chappal.
In the interval bang, we see DJ reciting Gayatri Mantram while smashing goons. But it is unfortunate to see him wearing chappal and reciting Mantra.
Harish Shankar who himself is a Brahmin is over confident that viewers will accept whatever he does. It doesn’t go to good books with these types of gimmicks. Also surprised how censor members overlooked at this issue without recommending any cuts.
A movie needs to have proper, correct ground work to come up with a neat and clean product. With a team of hundreds working on DJ, it is weird to see how they missed these types of basic things. Harish Shankar, where you have learnt this man?
