The Janasena Chief and Power Star Pawan Kalyan exhibited a decent gesture on AICC Vice-President Rahul Gandhi's public meet in Guntur which is intended to demand special category status to the Andhra Pradesh.
Pawan Kalyan revealed that he had received an invitation to attend the public meet. But due to short notice he can't turn up the meeting. "I'll support any political party who's fighting for spl. status for AP. My best wishes to Sri Raghu Veera Reddy Garu (APCC President). But due to short notice I am not able to make it. But every party should come under one common dais when it comes to fighting for promised spl. status with centre," Pawan Kalyan tweeted.
Meanwhile, the Congress party sent invitations all the political parties except TDP and BJP who turned down the demand of special status before. According to local Congress leaders, the representatives of nine political parties across the country are attending to Rahul Gandhi's public meet.
On the other hand, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu appealed the people not to attend Rahul Gandhi's meet. On the contrary, people appeared to have ignored his words, as huge turnout is learnt the have graced at the venue.
