Ace filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma directed biopics like 'Raktha Charithra' series, 'Vangaveeti', 'Veerappan' etc. He also wished to make the biopic on the life history of late CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy and the title was supposed to be 'Reddy Garu Poyaru'. But then, the film didn't get materialized.
As we know, Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's new film has been confirmed recently and movie will be directed by senior director KS Ravi Kumar. Grapevine is that the film's title is being mulled over as 'Reddy Garu' which almost sounds like RGV's title.
However, 'Reddy Garu' may not be a biopic and the film is expected to be a political entertainer. And the title is yet to be confirmed by the makers. More details of the film are awaited. On the other hand, Balakrishna and Puri Jagannadh's film shoot is underway. Balakrishna will be seen as a gangster and a taxi driver in the film. Shreya romances the Natasimham. The movie is slated for release on September 29.
