A high level delegation of Andhra Pradesh who include CM Chandrababu Naidu and 14 other ministers and officials left for US last night. The team will meet who's who of Information Technology, Agriculture, Education and other sectors. Also, the CM will sign sister state relations agreement with states such as California, Lowa and Illinois for investments.
However, Nara Lokesh, the IT Minister, who was supposed to leave for US along with the team, missed the opportunity at the eleventh hour. It's being speculated that his name was intentionally removed from the list.
But then, why has Nara Lokesh's name been removed? Ever since Nara Lokesh assumed responsibilities as an IT Minister, he has been fumbling at public meets and turned out to be laughing stock to a section of people. Analysts felt Lokesh would need more experience to hold the responsibilities as a minister. Perhaps, this was the reason for denying permission for Lokesh's US tour. However, sources close to Lokesh said the minister is busy with his assignments which included making commitments with IT companies for their entry into Amaravati.
