Ace director SS Rajamouli responded on the ongoing stir of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike', who have been demanding Sathyaraj to tender apologies for his derogatory comments on Kauvery waters and Kannda people.
Rajamouli, in his video message made it clear that Sathyaraj was one of the actors of the film and had no connection with production of the film. "Watching all of my films starting from Student Number One to Baahubali, you extended great love and affection towards me. Actor Sathyaraj played one of the roles in the film.
I heard Sathyaraj's comments made you hurt to the core. But then, the actor is no way connected to movie making. He hasn't held any responsibilities in direction, story, dialogues and production. Moreover, he took remuneration for his acting in the film.
It's learnt that Sathyaraj made comments nine years ago. Afterwards, several of his films were released in Karnataka including Baahubali. You have watched those films. I also appeal you to watch 'Baahubali - The Conclusion' too. As a matter of fact, Sathyaraj will not lose anything with your protests. But the workers and technicians who depend on the movie's success will suffer great loss with your agitations. I, once again, request you to watch 'Baahubali 2'," appealed Rajamouli.
