In what can be called as major damage control measure taken by producers Tagore Madhu and Nallamalupu Bujji, latest we heard is ‘Mister’ runtime is trimmed by at least 12 minutes to make the narrative close to 135 minutes.
While ‘Mister’ first half got positive reports with Srinu Vytla brand comedy doing the trick for a safe interval block, problems amplified in second half with a foolish track of Sri Krishna Deva Raya dynasty on Lavanya Tripathi.
To save the film from falling low and low, director Srinu Vytla and team is learnt to have chopped whole of Surekha Vani hospital episode, Brahmaji and Priydarshi-Sathya scenes along with removal of item song on Varun Tej, Madhu Sneha and procession song on Varun, Naazar is also edited. This means, ‘Mister’ second half will now be crispier than the release version.
However, ‘Mister’ latest trimmed version may be uploaded into Qubes from Monday in B, C centers while multiplexes in Hyderabad and other metros will have it done by today Matinee shows.
