Mister Publicity Bets On Heroines Hebbah, Lavanya Than On Varun Tej

Publicity strategies vary from film to film depending upon targeted audience and nature, content of the script. As such, ‘Mister’ is a hero centric title and Varun Tej being in title role, obviously Mega Fans and common audience expect a lot of promotional ideas to be played only on hero’s name.

However, the game plan is very much in contrast to its title. Majority promotional campaigns conducted till now have focused heroines Miss Lavanya Tripathi and Miss Hebbah Patel equally with Mister Varun Tej. Right from poster publicity to trailer and on going personal interviews, team chit chats; Hebbah and Lavanya are grabbing more or at least equal attention to Varun Tej. 

While some say this is a good practice of pushing heroines on front, others within film circles quoted that Varun is unhappy with the procedure, doubtful on whether he is the hero or is it Hebbah and Lavanya?

From producers perspective, the formula is apt because hot Hebbah Patel is an easy crowdpuller among youth, thanks to ‘Kumari 21 F’ and Lavanya is also prominently glamorous. When the name of Varun Tej can’t do a Box Office trick, no harm in exploiting the craze around such two gorgeous appearing babes. How about using brand Srinu Vytla…we know, how adverse and negatively influential.
