After several rounds of discussions all through the other day, finally, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu inducted 11 new faces into cabinet who included four defectors of YSRCP. One striking feature in the new ministry is that no caste equations were followed by the Government.
While four MLAs from Reddy community were taken to new cabinet, many other castes like Kapus were completely ignored for cabinet expansion. Strangely, CBN's decision of ignoring Kapu MLAs for cabinet expansion is being supported many Kapu leaders and Kapu reservation movement's activists across AP.
According to Kapu leaders like Mudragada Padmanabham TDP MLAs indulged in abuses against the Kapu reservation movement with the support of the Government. MLAs like Bonda Uma went overboard blaming the Kapu leaders.
As he was denied for inclusion of new cabinet, Bonda is suddenly using his caste card. Mudragada felt it was a lesson to such betrayers of the movement.
