True Faces of Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna

No Thank You Meets for Fans From Chiru, Balayya

Sankranti was just a regular festival for Mega and Nandamuri Fans. What was more worth to celebrate for them is the release of Chiranjeevi’s 150th ‘Khaidi No 150’ and Balakrishna’s 100th ‘Gauthami Puthra Satakarni’ coinciding with the same season. Fans have kept every drop of their sweat and every second of their time in making these two films stand as mammoth blockbusters in their respective hero careers.

Naturally, ‘Khaidi No 150’ is publicized as first 100 Crore film in TFI just next to ‘Bahubali’ and ‘Gauthami Puthra Satakarni’ is unofficially noted as first 50+ Crore film in Balayya career with an overall 60 Crore share. Box Office shares aside, the share of credit Fans got in the total play is ZERO.

Yes, neither Chiranjeevi nor Balakrishna took any initiative to thank their Fans by holding a Thank You Meet. Although ‘Khaidi No 150’ Thank You Meet was earlier proposed to happen in Vizag, now producer Ramcharan and Mega family dropped the proposal thinking that it is a mere waste of time and resources. Thanks Balayya, he hasn't got that habit too.

Yet again, Fans are just used and thrown away like curry leaves by heroes and their families in achieving their selfish profit oriented goals. Don’t worry Fans, you have ‘Uyyalwada’ and ‘Rythu’ coming up, neither you guys change nor the heroes.
