Satakarni Tax Exemption Benefit 7 Cr.?

Satakarni' Tax Exemption Benefit Details!

Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni' appeared to have hit a huge jackpot in the form of exemption of entertainment tax. As we know, both the governments of the Telugu states announced entertainment tax exemption to the movie prior to its release.

According to the reports, GPS collected a theatrical share of Rs.46-47 crores so far world wide. This share makes an inclusion of a whopping Rs.7 crores as no 15% entertainment tax was levied on the film. Had the tax been levied, the worth share of the film could have been around Rs.40 crores. That's why, the makers of 'GPS' should be grateful to both the governments.

In the meanwhile, 'GPS' is running successfully at the ticket windows. The movie was directed by Krish on his own banner First Frame Entertainment. Chirantan Bhatt has composed the music of the movie. Balakrishna's new film is yet to be announced while Krish may team up with Victory Venkatesh's new film.
