If the inside buzz and the reports from premiere shows are anything to go by Sharwanand's 'Shatamanam Bhavati' is going to be the promising family entertainer for this festive season of Sankranthi.
'Shatamanam Bhavati' is heard to have been made as a clean family entertainer to woo family sections. Also, the story emphasizes the need for the family bonding, love and affections among the members of the family. Prakash Raj, who, is on unrest with his sons and daughters who are in abroad but hardly visits the village. He thinks of a plan and let them to visit his village Atreyapalem. Thereupon, the story proceeds further with a chain of interesting sequences.
Sharwanand and Anupama's chemistry is learnt to have worked out well. Micky J Meyer's tunes were melodious and were beautifully shot. Prakash and Jayasudha fit the bill while others were apt in their performances. DOP by Sameer Reddy was good.
In contrast, the movie has a very thin line of story which is quite predictable without many twists and turns. All in all, the film is likely to be another hit film for Sharwanand next to 'Express Raja'. Earlier, we have a few solid hits with family genres like 'Kalisundam Raa' and 'SVSC' during Sankranthi season. Will 'Shatamanam Bhavati' join the league? Let's wait for a couple of hours to know the answer.
