Having overcome the slag days for films successfully, festival films are all set to show real dhamaka of collections from today, the auspicious day of Bhogi. And this fantastic season will last till this month end.
It is a known news that Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Khaidi Number 150' put up Rs.25.05 crores on the first day in Telugu states and beat the previous record of 'Baahubali's share with a huge margin of around Rs.3 crores. The film reportedly minted Rs.5.63 crores yesterday. Since the festival season starts from today, the least can we expect everyday could be Rs.7+ crores in Telugu states alone. As such, the movie may breach Rs.50 crores by this weekend in Telugu states. If at all the world wide collections are added, the film's share would be between Rs.60 cr. and Rs.70 crores by this weekend. According to the reports the film recorded speed fulls in the noon shows today. And in many areas it collected almost double to that of yesterday's shares this morning.
On the other hand, Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni', which fared decent shares on the first day, might avail the festival benefit to the fullest. The film is reported to have accumulated good collections this morning.
