Well, the heading has nothing to do with Tamil Nadu politics. We are discussing here about one of the lethargically made multi lingual movie ‘Amma’ by director Faisal Saif. As title suggests, this is a movie based on Tamil Nadu Ex CM, Late Jayalalitha with Kannada sex bomb Ragini Divedi playing title character.
Actually, ‘Amma’ would have been released long back in 2015 but due to various reasons and re-shoots there was inappropriate delay. If reports from Ragini are anything to go by, Jayalalitha’s demise forced them to go for re-shoots again and it might take few more months to plan the release.
‘Amma’ is bankrolled by Telugu producer CR Manohar, simultaneously made in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Faisal Saif earlier directed ‘Main Hoon Rajinikanth’ is still to see the lights. Looks like, he threw Rajinikanth on the backburner and moved ‘Amma’ on to front. We need to wait and see, how many legal hurdles ‘Amma’ has to face in coming days for its content.
