In spite resolving Kapu Reservation Movement issue on a peaceful note in a quick time, the ruling TDP of AP state is taking all measures to provoke Kapu agitators. It is a known news that the Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham has planned a six day Padayatra which is set to begin on 16 November at Ravulapalem of East Godavari district.
On the other hand, the AP government has decided to suppress the movement under any circumstances. The police are likely to use Supreme Court directives on maintenance of law and order and Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act on the inauguration day of Padayatra.
Moreover, a fake padayatra of kapus will be initiated by the TDP on November 16 under the leadership of a Rayalaseema based Kapu leader. The home minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa would launch this padayatra. The objective of this padayatra is to checkmate Mudragada's padayatra. Further, the kapu leaders in this yatra will mainly focus on extreme flattery on the ruling TDP and to criticize Mudragada's padayatra. In the meanwhile, a battalion consisting 150 police has already reached to Kirlampudi to curb Mudragada's padayatra.
