Income Tax raids on ‘Bahubali’ producers yesterday evening has come like a shocker for whole film industry. If reports from media circles are to be believed, all those big players in film market possessing heavy unaccounted money have become silent and inactive halting their business operations from couple of days. IT department has come like a big threat to uproot this currency with aggressive attacks planned. So, none of these bada babus in film industry aren’t touching the hidden stocks.
At the same time, media reports claimed on IT sleuths seized Rs. 60 Crores cash from ‘Bahubali’ office in Banjara Hills, Road No 2 and several illegal documents. Yarlagdda Shobu and Prasad Devineni are yet to comment. Currently, ‘Bahubali 2’ is in production stage and makers are said to have closed the pre release business at approximately Rs.1000 Crores, having received advances from many buyers.
