Media's selfless support for 'Baahubali' was remarkable then. As we all know, 'Baahubali' had so many flaws in its content. Senior actresses like Jamuna lambasted it as an idiotic film. Yet, Telugu media then felt it was their duty and responsibility to praise every aspect of the movie given its genre and the huge budget incurred on it.
Team 'Baahubali', in fact, had a tie up with a pro TDP media in such a way both the parties earned collectively crores of rupees and Padma awards too. Even then, other Telugu media houses always showed their warmth and compassion towards the film.
As 'Baahubali 2's release is fast approaching, team 'Baahubali 2' may set for the movie's promotions soon. They have already unveiled Young Rebel Star Prabhas' first look. But the platform they opted for was Mumbai media. This is high time 'Baahubali 2's makers had given prime importance to electronic, web and print media of Telugu states to promote their film. It seems, Telugu media has got their eyes opened as they did not fear slamming the first look of Prabhas as it appeared like a mass hero's getup in a commercial entertainer. Likely, Telugu media may not be biased in the case of 'Baahubali 2'.
